GENERAL DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Systems Product Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining Daniel’s preeminence as an industry leader in flow control and custody transfer. You will be responsible for engineering development, digital integration, and lifecycle enhancements for Daniel’s differential pressure, turbine, and ultrasonic metering systems. You will also collaborate closely with Product Management, Manufacturing, and Digital Innovation teams to drive next-generation product development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Engineering innovation by integrating IIoT-enabled sensors, real-time analytics, and cloud-based monitoring into Daniel’s flow measurement systems.
- Collaborate with Product Management to assess market needs and drive product innovation aligned with our New Product Expansion Process Framework.
- Ensure technical accuracy of all product databases, engineering documentation, and sales collateral.
- Work closely with Manufacturing to identify design improvements that increase product value through cost reduction, increased throughput, and efficiency enhancements.
- Develop automation strategies to optimize flow measurement accuracy while reducing operational downtime for pipeline operators, refiners, and industrial customers.
- Engage with customers to understand pain points and ensure that Daniel’s solutions exceed industry and regulatory standards.
- Support new product development (NPD) initiatives by conducting feasibility studies, prototyping, and performance testing.
- Ensure adherence to global industry standards and obtain necessary certifications to facilitate business operations across diverse regions.
- Represent Daniel Measurement & Control at key industry events (e.g., AGA, API, OTC conferences) to engage customers and drive product adoption
JOB PROFILE
Scholarship: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering
Experience Required (Years and Areas): 7+ years of experience in flow measurement, custody transfer, or process automation technologies
Languages: English, bilingual Spanish strongly preferred Level: Read/Write/Speak
