We are looking for a Sales Manager to develop and manage sales opportunities with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms and end users in the oil and gas sector. This role requires strong expertise in measurement and instrumentation solutions, along with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build lasting client relationships in the Houston, Texas market.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in oil and gas measurement, instrumentation, or industrial equipment.
- Proven track record of selling to EPC firms and end users in the Houston, Texas region.
- Strong technical knowledge of oil & gas measurement technologies and applications.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience managing long sales cycles and complex project-based sales.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, specifications, and approval processes.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel within the Houston area and occasionally beyond for customer meetings and industry events.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies in the oil & gas sector.
- Build relationships with EPC firms and key stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities and drive project-based sales.
- Provide technical consultation and market insights.
- Negotiate contracts and collaborate on execution.
Preferred Skills:
- Existing network within EPC firms and major oil & gas operators.
- Understanding of custody transfer, pipeline monitoring, and process automation solutions.
- Experience in negotiating large-scale contracts and bids.
